MAXIMUM BODY CONTROL

A movement enhancement system that improves body control, flexibility, and USEABLE ranges of motion.

What is KINSTRETCH?

The KINSTRETCH® system is one born out of scientific research. All of the movements and training techniques have been selected based on a meticulous and rigorous investigation of evidence, conducted by physical conditioning and medical experts, as it pertains to body control, injury prevention, joint health, and physical longevity.

Unlike many training systems, KINSTRETCH® practice is complete with a self-assessment system allowing you the ability to monitor your own body for dysfunction that may be causing pain, loss of performance, or that may be putting you at an increased chance of injury.

FAQ

A: Kinstretch is defined as a movement enhancement system that develops maximum body control, flexibility, and most importantly USABLE ranges of motion. Kinstretch was derived from Functional Range Conditioning (FRC), a system which is utilized throughout many of the services provided at Paradigm Performance.

A: Kinstretch is different from other movement systems and practices in that it focuses on and prioritizes mobility over flexibility. It improves your usable ranges of motion & builds upon them so you can access greater ranges of motion over time. I like to refer to it as ‘strength training’ for our joints.

A: The definition of mobility is quite literally ‘the ability to move’. This means the range of motion or position of a joint that is able to be obtained volitionally, via means of active muscle contractions. Flexibility however is the range of motion or position of a joint that can be obtained via passive means (i.e. gravity, body weight, or some external force). Or otherwise ‘’the ability to BE moved’’.. Flexibility will only take you so far when proper mobility will take you miles

A: Kinstretch is not meant to take the place of your current training. It is meant to supplement whatever you are interested in and utilized as a tool to improve anything you apply it to! Our goal at Paradigm Performance is to keep people moving for life regardless of their sport/ activity.
